Amanda Huynh

Founder of The Diving Dietitian, APD Dietitian

Scuba Diving Instructor, Meditation Teacher, Diet Culture Disruptor, Eco Warrior & Dancefloor Destroyer.

Amanda has been fortunate enough to find two strong passions in her life: diving and dietetics. She has integrated these two parts of her identity in her business name ‘The Diving Dietitian’ to remind herself and others that we are more than our jobs, bodies and health.

Each one of us are complex and infinite beings, one aspect of our lives does not define us. By integrating our various identities, we can accept and show up as our whole selves. The intersection of all our identities is what creates our unique perspective and power.

That’s why, as a clinician, I don’t just help you improve your nutrition and physical health. I see you as a whole person and help you take a holistic approach that not only improves your all aspects of your health, but also your whole life. That’s the secret to getting transformative results.

Amanda is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and a member of Dietitians Australia. She is based in Melbourne, although works virtually. She completed her studies in 2018, graduating with Bachelors of Health Science and Masters of Dietetic Practice from La Trobe University.

Sia Baravi

APD Dietitian (currently on maternity leave)

Offering an alternative to traditional diets, as a Non-Diet Dietitian Sia applies the principles of the Health At Every Size ©  (HAES) framework and instead strives to equip women and gender diverse people with the skills and knowledge necessary to optimize their health holistically with a focus on intuitive eating. Sia is devoted to helping women feel empowered within their bodies and making peace with food.

One of Sia’s greatest joys in life is cooking for the people she loves and celebrating with food. It is this passion that drove her to pursue a career in dietetics and where she learnt more about food culture and its role as a unifier across cultures and generations.

In her free time Sia loves to host family and friends and fire up the pizza oven. She also loves spending quality time with her partner, 2 cats and baby boy Oskar.

Sia is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and a member of Dietitians Australia. She is based in Melbourne but sees clients virtually. She completed her studies in 2018, graduating with Bachelor’s of Human Nutrition and Masters of Dietetic Practice from La Trobe University.
