About Us
Our mission
To empower 1 million women globally to improve their health by reconnecting with their body’s wisdom.
Founder of The Diving Dietitian, Accredited Practising Dietitian, Spinal Energetics Practitioner, Scuba Instructor & Meditation Teacher.
A non-diet, holistic approach to women and AFAB’s health.
I didn’t always plan to become this kind of dietitian.
After graduating uni, I wasn’t convinced I wanted to step straight into the traditional health system. So I did something wildly different — I became a scuba diving instructor. Underwater, I learned how powerful it is to work with your body instead of fighting it. To listen, adapt, and trust.
Then COVID cut my diving career short. And quietly, a deeper question surfaced:
How do I want to make an impact in the world?
That’s when I remembered something that changed everything.
In the final week of my dietetics degree, Fiona Sutherland introduced Health at Every Size®. For the first time, I saw a version of dietetics that wasn’t rooted in shame, weight obsession, or control. It was the first time I thought, “Oh… I could actually do this.”
Around the same time, I was creating a PCOS food hamper as a birthday gift for one of my closest friends. As I researched, I was honestly appalled.
Most PCOS advice was:
wildly weight-centric
disempowering and dismissive
deeply rooted in diet culture
completely disconnected from people’s real lives, cultures, and nervous systems
So I decided to do something different.
I began applying a non-diet, Health at Every Size® approach to PCOS — focusing on balancing hormones with balanced nutrition and intuitive eating rather than restriction and weight loss.
The impact was immediate and profound.
Not just in PCOS symptoms — but in how people felt about food, their bodies, and themselves.
That’s how The Diving Dietitian was born.
Who I support
I work with women and non-binary folks across early adulthood, midlife, and beyond — especially those who’ve been told their body is the problem.
I have a particular passion for supporting culturally diverse women who’ve felt invisible in mainstream nutrition spaces.
Many of my clients live with:
Women’s health conditions, e.g. PCOS, endometriosis, irregular menses
Metabolic conditions, e.g. type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance
Disordered eating, e.g. binge eating, chronic yo-yo dieting
Midlife conditions, e.g. perimenopause, osteoporosis
Neurodivergence, e.g. ADHD, autism, AuDHD
If you’ve ever Googled at 2am:
How to regulate periods naturally with PCOS
How to manage type 2 diabetes without dieting
How to stop binge eating
How to eat healthy without dieting
How to eat for ADHD
You’re in the right place.
What Makes My Approach Different
Empowerment through embodiment
We combine nutrition knowledge with our body’s wisdom to understand what we need to thrive in our health and wellbeing.
This isn’t cookie-cutter nutrition advice.
My work is holistic, grounded in science, and deeply human.
Compassion for self and others
We accept that making mistakes is part of the learning process. We choose to be kind to ourselves, always.
Connection through curiosity
Rather than judging, we ask questions to understand our bodies so we can provide it the care it needs.
Cultivating community
We bring together like-minded people who are willing to support each other to be the change we want to see in the world.
Our Vision
A world where we embrace our uniqueness and celebrate diversity.
